Many an A-lister made the trek to Dubai today to celebrate the grand opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson traveled from London to join Sam's mother Ann Dexter-Jones, while Mischa Barton will show up anywhere there's a red carpet. The eclectic crew, which included Mary-Kate Olsen all draped in white, Gerard Butler, Charlize Theron, and Stuart Townsend, was treated to dinner and an elaborate performance from Kylie Minogue.

A-listers were out in force last night for the lavish opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort and Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, with Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Mary-Kate Olson slipping on their gladrags. Us Brits were represented by a suave Gerard Butler, glittering Agyness Deyn and graceful Lily Allen, who left the balloons at home and accessorised with Rhys Ifans and a reported £5 million of Chopard jewellery. Wowzers. 
Lovely Kylie Minogue was getting a whole lot of male attention in Argentina yesterday, as men jumped on each other's backs to get a glimpse at the pop princess. She's over there on tour at the moment, and stepped out for a little shopping on her day off. The latest rumours are that Kylie is to host the 2009 Brit Awards alongside the hilarious James Corden and Mathew Horne of Gavin & Stacey fame. 
Kylie Minogue was in Paris today for lunch with French designer Jean Paul Gaultier. I love her casual look, the off the shoulder top and fringed boots are oh-so-casual, yet just smart enough, right? Kylie's been speaking out about her style secrets, as well as her thoughts that she's not destined to get married and have children — she said:
