This season's perfect skin is all about a matte complexion that still glows. Banish any thoughts of a shiny face and follow the lead on the catwalks for super flawless skin that's the ideal canvas for some of this autumn's more dramatic trends. To make it a little easier Lancome have just launched Colour Ideal Powder, (£24) which is a silky pressed powder with jaw-droppingly natural results. 
Lipstick may have dominated the runways at fashion week, but gloss remains a perennial favorite. One of the biggest launches in the past decade is Lancôme's Juicy Tubes. Eleven of the cult-classic lip glosses are sold around the world every minute.

There's a considerable amount of buzz about two mascaras: Ôscillation from Lancôme ($34) and TurboLash ($30) from Estée Lauder. The dueling products both promise to add volume, length and curl to lashes through their vibrating wands. TurboLash sold out immediately upon its July debut, and Ôscillation had 21,000 names on a waiting list before launching this week.

If you thought the cherub-imprinted bronzer from Lancôme's Cabana Bronze line was sweet, wait until you see the new Maharani Jewels collection. Inspired by India, it has lots of rich, summer-into-fall shades — but the standout item is this bronzer, whose pretty pachyderm imprint is very cool.
This collection's Juicy Tubes get a minimakeover, too, adding traditional Indian designs to the packaging.
