Dunhill is arguably one of the most well respected and traditional British labels. Devised in 1893, it began as a motor accessory brand to appeal to the quintessential British gentleman. Before long Dunhill became known for selling all sorts of paraphenalia such as fishing rods, pipes, sporting equipment, stationary and classic motoring gloves.

Personally I can never resist a little bit of shimmer and sparkle, especially in the run up to Christmas. No wonder then that I'm head over heels about Sarah Jessica Parker's
Winter Sparkle collection. If you've
got your LBD sorted and picked out some
suitably glittery footwear then this beautiful set will add the finishing touch to your look.

Six of the world's most up and coming fashion designers are to put their fame to good use this month. The new darlings of the fashion world are all set to launch a collaborative scent project which aims to raise awareness and funds for the charity
Designers Against Aids. The project is called Six Scents and the first series will feature the fragrances of Gareth Pugh, Jeremy Scott, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Bernhard Wilhelm, Cosmic Wonder Light Source and Preen.

Fashion designer Giorgio Armani and his beauty licensee, L’Oréal are all set to launch a new trio of perfumes. Based on traditionally Oriental scents, Onde is all about sensuality and womanliness. The advertising campaign will feature model Jessica Stam and has been shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

"Ma dame is not a lady, she is my muse. She amuses me." So says Jean Paul Gaultier of his latest perfume.

Sarah Jessica Parker is launching another collection of perfumes. Following in the footsteps of Coty Prestige counterpart —
Gwen Stefani, who launched the five-fragrance Harajuku Lovers lineup in September — Sarah Jessica will be creating a bevy of scents. The Lovely Collection line will comprise of three scents — Dawn, Endless and Twilight.

One of the biggest trends in the beauty world in the last five years has been the increase in awareness about using natural and
organic ingredients. More than ever before we are wanting to use products that are environmentally sustainable and initiatives such as
Brad Pitt and Kiehl's eco project have paved the way for beauty brands to get serious about the environment. However the fragrance world seems to be lagging behind when it comes to using organic ingredients.

Actress and TV presenter Kelly Brook is certainly
getting a lot of attention lately. As well as
acting on stage in her new play Fat Pig the British brunette is now to sign a six-figure perfume deal. Kelly looks set to be capitalising on her unique brand of charm; she has that down to earth personality and super pretty girl-next-door appeal that endears her to both men and women.

With all the
new fragrance launches around it's tough to be faithful to just one perfume. I'm still head over heels in love with
Loewe's Quiza Quizas Quizas and it's recently become my signature scent. As it's so unusual most people who comment on it don't recognise the perfume or haven't smelt it on anyone else, which is so nice in a world where sometimes it seems we're all wearing the same
leopard print clothing,
red lipsticks and
flicked out black eyeliner as everyone else.

Donatella Versace is
never one to skimp on excess. Known for famously stating "more is more," the designer has just created what appears to be one of the world's most luxury perfumes. Despite the threat of a worldwide recession Donatalla's new fragrance will retail at $2,100.
The eau de parfum comes in a gleaming, hand-stitched white leather train case.
