Last week
I told you about Anya Hindmarch for Target which was to be available
through her website. Well, unless you were super prepared you probably missed out as the entire line
sold out in just two minutes!
The collaboration between the British designer and the bargain US retailer offered Anya Hindmarch handbags for as little as £11.50.

Wait British shoppers! Before you skip this post because you think it only applies to Americans allow me to let you in on a secret. British accessory designer Anya Hindmarch has designed a line of frankly bargain handbags for US budget store
Target.

I recently spotted this
celebrity style over at our US sister site and completely fell in love with Rachel Bilson's tote. Lets be fair, if Rachel is in on a trend then there's a strong chance than many other will follow her lead which is why I had to share with you her
Pringle of Scotland Slouch Tote (£1200). The aubergine coloured arm candy has plait detailing and is a great way to nod to the
Bopo trend.

Last week I revealed the
first part of my interview with handbag designer Janet Collin. She is responsible for such classic bags as the
Mulberry Jacquetta, Keira, Cassidy and
Eastwood. Read the second part of my interview here where she discusses chosing names for bags, launching her own line and what she carried in her own handbag.
Did you come across any obstacles this season?
Where do I start!

Guess which American actress has seemingly forgotten her trousers but is carrying a white Hermes Birkin to the Toronto Film Festival?

Late last month Mischa Barton
launched her handbag line in the UK. She should know a thing or two about the key accessory as she is rarely seen without one.
The price range for the collection can be quite high but fear not as we're giving one away to a UK TeamSugar member! The
Embossed Leather Vintage Bag (£150) pictured here is a favourite from the line and is made from 100% leather.

Despite saving money by holidaying in the UK and wearing H&M beachwear Samantha Cameron has designed a £775 bag for
Smythson. Her previous bag the 'Nancy' sold out in just three weeks and was loved by many celebrities so she is hoping for the same success with her latest design, the 'Maze'.
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jennifer Connelly have already ordered the bag for themselves but do you think this design will be as well received?

As a handbag obsessive, there is nothing more frustrating than seeing a celeb with an it-bag and not being able to identify where it is from. This happened to me with Lily Allen when she
started parading around a beautiful black satchel. Her and the bag have become close companions and I can't say that I blame her as it is a gorgeous bag.

You may not think you recognise the name Janet Collin but when I explain that she was the creative force behind some of Mulberry's most famous handbags and has previously worked with such high profile labels as Louis Vuitton, Banana Republic and Matthew Williamson you'll probably get excited!
Now, following many years of working for other people, Collin has decided to launch
her own label and website where you can buy her designs. We caught up with Collin to find out about her latest collection and her influences.

New handbags are starting to emerge for the Autumn season both by designers and on the High Street. I am very impressed, and slightly taken aback by this patent bag which comes in at just
£35 from Laura Ashley!
Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, this bag is such a High Street bargain and sure to sell out as soon as it hits stores. I've got the
online store bookmarked in preparation!
