Friday night was Halloween (as if you didn't notice) and even the cool London kids got dressed up for the event. Alexa Chung hosted a Halloween party at Browns Focus which was attended by her fashionable friends Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof. Daisy opted for an on-trend gothic ensemble with bright coloured mask showing off her seemingly-endless pins. The hostess with the most Alexa got historical with a big orange dress whilst Pixie seemed to wear everything in the dress-up box. Who do you think looked the most Fab for the spooky party? Behind the Seams: Olsen Clothing Launch at Selfridges

This week the Olsen twins have flown in to the UK to launch their Elizabeth and James line. Last night the twins headed to London's Selfridges to show off their latest collection. Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof and Henry Holland headed down to the launch to check out the clothes. I have managed to gain a preview of the collection and have to say that this is the most impressive celebrity line I have seen. The gothic inspired pieces are the best (and so Mary-Kate) but there are also some nice pale pieces. The line is wearable but with funky elements making it perfect for a UK shopper.

London Fashion Week, Spring 2009: House of Holland

Who would have thought, two years ago, that a man who has made his name in fashion with quirky t-shirts would now be showing his fourth collection to London Fashion Week? It's quite impressive and despite his critics suggesting he was initially a one-trick pony (which amusingly was the title of his first catwalk show), Holland has managed to tap in to key trends each season which are regularly spotted on his celebrity fans.

This season the front row was like a who's who of the London party scene including Alexa Chung, Kimberly Stewart and Alice Dellal. Obviously his best friend and muse Agyness Deyn appeared on the catwalk showcasing his latest designs.

This season House of Holland was '90s crazy with plenty of flower power, polka dots and stone washed denim (part of his collaboration with Levi's). Cheeky dresses with sexual undertones were sent down the catwalk combining sheer and carefully placed dots.

Holland is aware that as Beverly Hills 90210 returns to our screens we all go crazy for '90s nostalgia, not simply for that show but also for Blossom and Clarissa Explains It All. Therefore think big sheer floral shirts and jackets. There were also a few seemingly innocent yet quite naughty ensembles as Holland got a bit Gaultier on us.

At the Topshop Unique show yesterday, girls about town Alexa Chung and Peaches Geldof snapped up front row seats at the label's London Fashion Week event. Alexa is working her trademark black winged eyeliner look with a hint of colour on her lips. She has her hair tied back with a severe middle parting. Peaches looks more glamorous, although I'm not sure about the two tone colour of her hair at the moment. However, I do really like her fresh-faced makeup look. Her pink blush and lipstick looks pretty on her skin tone. Whose beauty look do you prefer? Source

Here at Sugar UK HQ we've been a fan of Alexa's style for sometime. She is very honest about her choices confessing to having a stylist to help her compose outfits. However, I still think that she's adorable and like her girl-next-door laidback style.

Her style mixes funky British designers such as Luella and PPQ with a smattering of High Street and a sprinkle of vintage. Alexa (like myself) is a fan of layering so is often seen with a cardigan or leather jacket.

She is also fortunate enough to look great in both dresses and separates. For example, I love this Luella prom dress at the Elle Style Awards but I also love her dressed down look.

Obviously Alexa is a human so has made some style errors but they're few and far between. What do you think of her style? Copy her Chanel couture show look here.

Alexa Chung has had plenty of time this summer to perfect the festival chic look. She attended Wireless, V festival, Glastonbury and now Leeds! Seeing as practice makes perfect do you think that Alexa is about to steal the rock chick style crown from Kate Moss? It certainly looks like she borrowed Kate's cardigan for a weekend in Leeds. Alexa opted for knee-high boots instead of wellies and went for a funky hat. But what do you make of her look? Source

Alexa was out last night with her beau Alex Turner at a screening of Leon at Somerset House. She wore a funky Marc by Marc Jacobs tee which stated 'Off The Deep End' with high waisted shorts. Alexa mixed textures for an on-trend look mixing satin, cotton and sharp jewels. Good to see that she's prepared for the outdoor screen with a rolled up matt! What do you think of her ensemble? It was battle of the indie fashionistas at the O2 Wireless festival this weekend. Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof both looked super cool, but with very different styles.Alexa was working a smouldering look, with a severe side parting and dark, smoky eyes. Fab UK and I both loved her over-the-knee socks, showing off super-shiny thighs too. We were especially excited to see Alexa carrying the Mulberry Bayswater that is up for grabs in our giveaway. Pixie, meanwhile, was more rock chick with her messy, bleached crop, retro lipstick and gold-rimmed aviators. But whose look rocked your world?

Celeb Style: Alexa Chung at Chanel Couture Show

There haven't been many celebrities at the couture shows this season but Fab favourite Alexa Chung attended the Chanel show earlier in the week. The funk Brit presenter kept her outfit simple re-wearing her leather jacket to add a bit of edge.

She had bare legs which makes the ensemble more suitable for Summer and wore classic black court heels. She looks very fresh faced keeping makeup to a minimum. She isn't carrying a bag in this picture but lets hope she remembered her 2.55...

This is a very easy look to recreate and can be put together with High Street pieces. Although a pair of tights would make it a winter look I would be weary of wearing so much black. If you're not such a fan of your legs then why not wear the dress over skinny jeans.

It's only the first day of the 2008 Glastonbury festival but plenty of stars have already been spotted. Alexa Chung is there with Arctic Monkeys/Last of the Shadow Puppets boyfriend Alex Turner. She is sporting a Belstaff leather jacket, straw Trilby, knee high socks and high waisted shorts. Alexa Chung was spotted on a night out earlier in the week with Dev Hynes. Her outfit wasn't to everybody's taste but I couldn't overlook her gorgeous two-tone pumps. The classic Chanel style flat are making a come back this season with French Sole offering them in many colour varieties.

A few High Street stores have also cottoned on to the trend and are offering a variety of colours and styles. The great thing about them is that they go with almost anything, you could even wear them with a dress for eveningwear. Alternatively, wear with your favourite pair of jeans for an instant update of the classic ballet pump.

Alexa Chung was spotted out late last week wearing a plaid shirt, blazer and a denim dress. The following day she was wearing the same outfit but mixed it up by wearing the dress backwards! Denim in general is back on the fashion radar as the denim jacket returns as a wardrobe staple. A denim dress, however, is a great Spring addition as it's slightly too heavy for the summer but perfect for the current unpredictable climate.

Denim featured heavily on the catwalks at Mulberry and Chanel where it appeared in a work-wear style rather than sticking to just jeans. Vanity Lair presenter Alexa Chung has been speaking to The Guardian about fashion, her relationship and her aspirations to talk about books on Radio 4. She also discussed her stylist, Steph Stevens who chooses her clothes for television appearances.

"But in all the pictures you see in the papers I've chosen my clothes. People are shit when they deny they have a stylist, but she hasn't changed how I dress. She literally has the discount cards. And she got me into stripes."

She also talks about 'Team Evil' which includes LA band the Like, the model Valentine Fillol-Cordier and Kelly Osbourne, she describes them as,

"Like the hottest collection of girls ever! And they're evil. We're having some Team Evil Awards, awarded for how many hearts you've broken in the year. Like the New Member Award - we're going to give to Agy (the model Agyness Deyn) because we're trying to recruit her at the moment. But we're not sure that she's a heartbreaker, because she's too nice. She doesn't look evil. We made T-shirts, and they've got Lolita sunglasses with Team Evil written on them - you have to be obsessed with Nabokov to be in Team Evil."

Could those Lolita sunglasses be the pair we spotted Kelly in during London Fashion Week? Look out for Agyness sporting a pair.

This weekend, British magazine Tatler announced their infamous Best Dressed list which has been headed by Kate Moss for the past few years. 2008 is a year of change as Moss is pipped to the top by model du jour Agyness Deyn.

Deyn had a great year in 2007 winning Model of the Year and appearing on countless catwalks from Burberry Prosum to Anna Sui. She recently appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and it was amazing to see how down-to-earth she was.

Also appearing in the list this year were model-turned-presenter Alexa Chung, actress Keira Knightley and model Stella Tennant.

E4 presenter Alexa Chung had a very busy week last week as she attended plenty of shows and parties at London Fashion Week. She must be unhappy with the current penchant for body con as she told WWD,

"I'm very limby, and if I wear tight clothes they make me look like I'm a child pretending to be an adult."

She admits to preferring smock tops but has a great interest in style. The former model explains,

"I adore to put outfits together...After all, I used to want to be a fashion journalist."
