Lowe Coming Up Daisies with Spring 2009 ads Daisy Lowe was recently hailed as a model who could bring the death of size zero, and designers seem to be falling into place — either that, or they're latching onto her it-girl status, and her curvier-than-the normal-model shape has nothing to do with it.

Fab favourite Daisy Lowe has this week been revealed as the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs. Daisy is following in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham who fronted the campaign last year, Sofia Coppola and Meg White.

Jacobs told WWD, “I think she looks adorable," and I couldn't agree more! The Spring/Summer '09 campaign will be shot by Juergen Teller. Whilst Daisy appears in the ads for the younger line, Raquel Zimmerman will front the womenswear collection.

Earlier this year Daisy appeared in ad campaigns for Agent Provocateur, Diesel, Converse All Stars and Doc Martens.

At last night's 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards the stars showed their love for this season's bright lip trend. Berry shades ranging from dark to subtle reigned supreme. Duffy went for an lingonberry shade to complement her pale skin, while Pink's dark rasberry lipstick looked perfect with her dark eyes. Daisy opted for an on-trend gothic ensemble with bright coloured mask showing off her seemingly-endless pins. How embarrassing it must be to turn up to a Fendi party pleased as punch that you have the new season over-the-knee boots only to discover that you weren't the only one to land your hands on a pair. That happened this weekend as Alice Dellal and Daisy Lowe attended the Fendi O party as part of Paris Fashion Week. Fortunately, the London party girls had very different takes on how to wear the Fendi over-the-knee boots (£730) showing off their individual style. You may be forgiven for focusing your attentions elsewhere when Daisy Lowe and the Agent Provacteur models hit the mirrored runway at the launch of the brand's new eau de parfum, called Diamond Dust. However, true to form, my eyes were on the gorgeous hair as the girls sported ultra feminine curls designed to compliment all the womanly curves on show.

Hair maestro and best mate of Kate Moss, James Brown was the man behind the look, referencing the Russ Meyer films of the '70s to create big sexy curls. He says, "Think Jerry Hall in the seventies, when her hair was big, big, big."

Daisy Lowe and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley partied last night at the GQ Style Burberry party in London alongside the likes of Agyness Deyn, Christopher Bailey, and Tamsin Egerton. Daisy nodded to the opulence trend with a bright coloured blazer and clutch. She attended with ex-boyfriend and Burberry ad campaign star Will Cameron who matched Daisy's bright coloured tuxedo jacket with his green shiny blazer. Fab Field Day: Tommy Hilfiger Sessions

Last night, I was lucky enough to be invited to Porchester Hall in West London for the filming of one of the Tommy Hilfiger sessions. Back in April I told you about the launch of Tommy TV where these sessions will be streamed around the world. The first London Hilfiger session was hosted by the gorgeous Daisy Lowe with performances by The Metros, Steve Appleton, Zarif and John Legend.

Celebrity guests included Jaime Winstone, Alfie Allen, Amy Molyneau (of PPQ) and stylist Richard Shoyemi. I chatted with some of the stars and the guests and I'll be reporting back what they had to say over the next few days.

Fab Blab: Daisy Lowe

This weekend the Observer Magazine caught up with Fab favourite Daisy Lowe. The model, who is rumoured to have broken up with Mark Ronson this weekend, is currently back in London for fashion week. She has also recently been revealed as one of the faces of Agent Provocateur.

Daisy is often out spoken about her role in the fashion industry. She complains that they only want super skinny girls and in this interview she was quite explicit about her feelings.

"The thing is I'm not teeny-weeny stick sample size so I don't want to go along to the cattle castings and not fit into any of the clothes. Show size is very small and I eat doughnuts and Red Velvet (cupcakes). I love curvaciousness. Curvy girls are the sexiest girls. If clothes were built for curvier women, which is most of the population, one: people would look better; two: designers would sell more clothes, and three: they wouldn't have to use tiny anorexic models."

She also talks about what she was like before she became a model. "I loved chemistry and psychology. I won a chemistry quiz and got given a forensic scientist's uniform. I was 15. So at the same age as doing all this science stuff, I did the Agent Provocateur perfume campaign and I did get a Saturday job, in AP. I worked in the store room upstairs, but I still got the pink uniform."

Reading the interview left me wishing Daisy Lowe was my best friend! It's so refreshing to hear of somebody so level-headed in the modeling industry, particularly a model who is under so much pressure to conform. Daisy hinted that she'd soon move back from New York to London because she's "bored of planes".

Festival Chic Part 4: Daisy Lowe's Flower Power Hair

What with Reading and Leeds festivals this weekend, as well as various London events like Notting Hill Carnival and Get Loaded in the Park, there was a lot of festival chic going on, beauty-wise.

I adore Daisy Lowe's flower-strewn hair, at the Clapham, Get Loaded in The Park event, while Kate Moss went for a twisted, half up, half down do, again, at Reading.

All this laid back loveliness has got me thinking about the key to cool festival hair. Good dry shampoo, definitely, but in terms of style, it seems that the less you looked like you've tried, the better.

Trend Alert: PVC Leggings

PVC leggings aren't a new trend but they're a left over item from the fetish trend from last autumn which have carried though to this season. They have been spotted on celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic. From Kate Moss at Glastonbury 2007, to Mary Kate Olsen, to Rihanna at the Much Music awards they're always a great statement item. Obviously they're pretty unforgiving but I think most girls would be surprised at how flattering they can look.

Unless you have supermodel-esque legs I would team the leggings with a longish top or coat dress (as seen on Nicky Hilton). I would also avoid wearing them with boots as your risk looking like a dominatrix! A soft knit (seen here on Mary Kate) is a great way to offset the harshness of the leggings. Most of the celebs have invested in a pair of KOVA&T black oxy leggings (pre order here for £85) but American Apparel offer a great alternative with these shiny high-waisted leggings (£32). Have you dared to try this trend yet?

The latest model rumours, are that girl du jour – Daisy Lowe – is to star in the Karen Millen Holiday Campaign.

Daisy has a cool fresh look, which is sure to inject a dose of edginess to the high-street favourite brand.

The new collection is apparently a combination of ‘Grace Jones meets Goth Victoriana’ and will also incorporate aspects of Daisy's personal style.

So we're expecting punk rock vintage – plus lots of leopard print – if Daisy's recent looks are anything to go by. We can't wait...

Ok, I admit it, I have completely fallen for the charm of Daisy Lowe. I feel like I shouldn't have as on the whole I don't want to but having watched a few episodes of Class of 2008 I can't help but find her to be adorable.

Firstly, she looks like a doll! Even without make-up she has the most amazing skin and the prettiest face. She has previously expressed problems with catwalk modeling due to her "curvy" figure (I think they mean she is not completely flat chested) but she has not let that hold her back appearing on the catwalks at PPQ and Vivienne Westwood to name a few.

Daisy recently described her own style to Refinery29 saying, "Like a fairy pixie doll, but with a little bit of a vintage twist." The labels you're most likely to see her in include Miu Miu, Vivienne Westwood and Agent Provocateur, although her Vivienne Westwood boots have been altered slightly. "Everyone has the old ones, but my mum dyed mine black so they look different."

Blood, Sweat and T-shirts came to an end this week leaving a slight gap in our reality TV schedule but before you panic, here's something else for you to feast you eyes upon! Daisy Lowe is a name that has been popping up all over the place recently, perhaps most notably for her relationship with Mark Ronson. Now a new BBC series 'Class of 2008' follows the young model and her friends around their daily lives. Think a North London based version of 'The Hills'. Friends involved in the show include upcoming model Portia Freeman who has been linked to Pete Doherty, and Daisy's ex boyfriend Will Cameron.

The show begins this Saturday at 12.45pm on BBC2.

As much as I'd like to not like Daisy Lowe for a whole range of bitter reasons I can't help but find her adorable. Tonight's Sex and the City premiere was no exception when she wore my favourite dress of the season by Miu Miu.
