Yesterday Lilly Allen was spotted amongst a sea of balloons shooting her new music video in Bedfordshire. I've found out that her fabulous and flirty bow dress is part of the 2009 Spring/Summer PPQ collection and her outrageously high platform heels are Yves Saint Laurent. The dress is currently in production, and will be available for purchase from 1st January for £325. See below for more on Lily's lovely video look.

Lily Allen looked super chic at the Groucho nightclub last night in London. The singer wore thick dark black hair extensions to give her mane a full, sexy look. It's a far cry from the short quirky style we saw her sporting recently. Lily straightened her fringe too for a sleek effect that is certainly very feminine.

Lily Allen looked adorable at GQ's 20th Anniversary Party last night in London. Despite swapping her black strapless dress for a pink fringed number, the singer kept her beauty look the same all night. She opted for a classic Old Hollywood vibe with shiny tumbling curls and matte skin. Lily's bright pink catwalk-esque lips were the focus of the look, but personally I can't decide if it's cutesy or overdone.
Her heavy black eye makeup was slightly smudged to add some rock chick grunge to her otherwise polished style. This makeup certainly makes her brown peepers look enormous. What's your opinion of Lily's GQ style? Source

You can't move for animal print at the moment! Whilst out shopping recently I have seen it everywhere in all shapes and forms from scarves, to shoes to coats! Last night Lily Allen attended the Lipsy party in a long leopard print coat which matched her new dark bob perfectly. Kate Moss has been wearing her leopard print coat for a long time, and Myleene Klass also recently backed the trend but in a shorter style. It's important to only wear one piece of leopard print at a time and to play safe, team it with black items. Lily Allen was back on the party scene last night as she attended Elton John's Grey Goose fundraiser event. She went for a rock gothic look with a classic quilted Chanel 2.55 and black heels. The velvet body of the dress with tutu lace skirt reminds me of a party dress that I had as a child so I am instantly impressed but it doesn't matter what I think, what do you think? Source

Yesterday Lily Allen was exposed to be wearing Spanx when an empty packet was spotted in the back of her car. The singer is proud to be curvy and obviously wanted to look her best for the red carpet. I think we all know how important it is to look good to party. Shaping underwear is a big industry particularly in recent years as TV presenters like Gok Wan and Trinny and Suzannah stress the power and importance of it. However, this got me wondering how often people actually wear spanx?

Lily Allen showed off her newly short hair cut at the Saatchi party in London last night. Her new choppy bob in ebony black looked sleek and sophisticated. I have to admit I'm liking it much more than her previous long brunette style or pink hair colour.She wore the style with a deep side parting and upped the glamour ante. Cue high voltage dark smoky eyes lined in thick black kohl. A touch of blush and nearly nude lips made for a flattering and yet still show stopping look.What do you think of her arty party style?

Paris Fashion Week is now over for another season but last week's shows were celeb packed. Stars from the US, UK and Europe came together to appreciate the Spring fashions, but they started their own trends too — particularly supporting the colour grey! Lily Allen and Marion Cotillard wore mid-length dresses to the Christian Dior show with high heels. Naomi Campbell opted for a suit at Yves Saint Laurent, whilst Emma Watson wore an age appropriate loose mini-dress to Sonia Rykiel. All of the outfits matched the sky colour here perfectly!

When Kate Moss first launched her Topshop line (back in May 2007) there were several other celebrity lines including Lily Allen for New Look. At the time Lily had a slight personal crisis regarding her image which she explained saying, "seeing my picture in so many newspapers next to Kate Moss's made me feel grotesque." However, now over a year later its great to see Lily looking good in a piece from Kate's latest collection for Topshop. From the moment I saw these pictures of Lily Allen out having dinner with her Grandad I knew that everybody would be lusting after her dress. We saw Victoria Beckham in a Marc Jacobs navy blue dress back in April and this dress too features cute cut out detail.

Lily matched her dress to her navy blue quilted Chanel handbag. Although there are plenty of Little Black Dresses around this winter, I think the little navy blue dress is also a good contender. Blue tends to be less harsh against pale skin yet remains as flattering as black.

Navy blue has been breaking in to the fashion colour palette for a while. It's a great alternative to both brown and black and is often credited with reflecting our new and improved eco-shopping habits.

Love it or loathe it, Lily Allen's flamingo pink hair has certainly been getting a lot of attention from those first pics at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards to her recent (slightly grown-out) look in LA. Although it's a little bright for me, I salute Lily for daring to look different, and the bold colour actually really suits her skin tone and dark eyes.
If you're feeling brave - get the look at home with street-style brand Fudge's range of Paintbox, semi-permanent hair colours (£7.95). They have two pink shades - Pink Moon, which is a very nu-rave, fluorescent pale pink and Pretty Flamingo - a hot pink like Lily's.

You can also mix them with Fudge Whiter Shade of Pale (£10.95), to create a softer, baby pink, that's better suited to pale skin. Think Scarlett Johansson's pink wig in Lost in Translation.

The Paintbox colours are free of ammonia and peroxide which makes them more gentle on the hair and as they're semi-permanent you won't get dramatic regrowth. Be warned though, even semi-permanent colours can be tricky to get out, so be extra-careful if you have very pale or dry hair. I recommend using a deep conditioning mask, like the Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco Masque, the wash before you dare to dye, to protect the hair.

In recent weeks I have generally been warming to Lily Allen. I think she makes a great blonde and although she's been sporting a lot of leisure wear she seems like she's happy and having fun. However, whilst both the latter are true in this outfit I can't let this one pass. She wore this outfit once last week and I turned a blind eye but now that she has worn it again (whilst out with Mark Ronson) I couldn't resist adding Lily to the How would YOU wear it hall of shame.

I know that jumpsuits are big news this season and that Lily isn't the first to wear one but I think she makes it look too much like a baby's romper suit by teaming it with a cutesy cardigan and trainers. I know that Rihanna is a fan of the jumpsuit but hers are smart and teamed with heels for a sleek silhouette. What do you think about Lily's ensemble, how would YOU wear it?

Lily Shops Til She Drops: Everyone loves a good shopping day, and Lily Allen certainly didn't let the rain keep her indoors as she spent yesterday in and out of shops in London. Having created countless celebrity style outfits involving a blazer, I decided it was time to confirm the blazer as a key item for Spring. Kate Moss is rarely seen without one, Lily loves hers (left) and even Fearne Cotton has been sporting a cropped version. It's a great investment piece because even a High Street version will probably last you for years.

Wear it with tailored trousers to the office or dress it down with jeans, alternatively on a night out wear it over a dress for a chic cover-up. It's great for Spring when the weather isn't too cold but you still need slightly more than a cardigan. There's a blazer in the new Kate Moss for Topshop collection which she told Grazia that it was inspired by her boyfriend's collection.

"This reminds me of jackets I borrow from my boyfriend and looks great over jeans, and with a skinny leather belt slung around it."

They're a bit of a fashion mystery as haven't fallen off the radar since their first appearance in 2003 on the likes of Sienna Miller. But do you still wear yours? Do you think that Lily Allen read the floral trend report last week and then went out and bought this dress? It's a great dress and it's amazing to see Lily looking so happy again. I'm not sure I would have teamed it with Ugg boots but there is so much detail on the dress that it definitely needs plain footwear. Maybe black pumps would have been more chic? Admittedly they wouldn't have been as cosy! She also kept accessories simple with a plain black tote and a funky mens watch.

The dress is by Topshop (£50) and despite having currently sold out online they're expecting another delivery next week. Do you like her style?
