Victoria Beckham was spotted shopping yesterday in LA with her son Cruz. Victoria has recently been revealed as the face of Giorgio Armani lingerie and has spoken out about her preparation for the role. Talking to WWD she said, "I started running regularly about a year ago and when this campaign came about, I began working harder every day." This has provoked rumours that she might be planning on running the NY marathon. However, these Christian Louboutin boots are certainly not made for running! Victoria Beckham truly uses the world as her catwalk and even dresses up at the airport! Earlier this week she returned to the UK and caused quite a stir on both sides of the Atlantic in her leather Belstaff jacket. Personally when I fly I aim for comfort in loose jeans or leggings and big slouchy jumpers. Whatever Victoria's reason for this outfit, I can't believe it was comfort particularly with those high heeled Louboutin boots. Even if you don't like Victoria's ensemble here, the individual pieces are classics. See below to copy her style.

Victoria Beckham looked polished and perfect as she boarded a flight from LA airport to London yesterday. She appeared to be channeling her latest style muse Audrey Hepburn with oversize sunglasses and her new, short pixie crop. This isn't the first time that Victoria has done an Audrey, but here even her gestures seem to be playing on that gamine insouciance for which Audrey was adored. I'm a huge fan of her new short hairstyle and those ultra glossy, nude lips are bang on trend. Victoria's skin looks radiant too, perhaps due to that secret bird poo ingredient in her face cream! Jordan has never been a particularly big fan of Victoria Beckham so I bet she had a little chuckle to herself this morning when she read the newspaper following reports that Mischa Barton is not exactly impressed by Victoria Beckham's style.

Speaking to The Sun Mischa stated, "Posh doesn't strike me as particularly stylish. I don't think she's a good example of British style at all."

She also went on to explain her own style adding, "I don't dress for anybody else, and I think the reason people like my style is that I do my own thing."

I'm not sure why Mischa has suddenly decided to attack Victoria and there are no reports of a comeback just yet but Ms Beckham always leaves people divided. What do you think of Mischa's comments, do you agree?

Victoria Beckham Shares New Beauty Secret: Bird Poo!

The newly hair-styled Victoria Beckham and husband David have been keeping a dirty little beauty secret. They both use and swear by a cream that contains bird poo! A devoted follower of fashion with a model figure, Victoria has gained our sympathy recently partly because of her well-publicised battle with her complexion over the years.

Now, it seems that Posh is crediting her new clear skin to a supposed miracle beauty ingredient; nightingale poo. The 34 year old has been going for £100 Geisha Facials from Japan which use a paste made from bird droppings to help combat acne and general blemishes on the skin.

A friend of the Beckhams told Closer magazine, "When Victoria was in Japan recently she was admiring the local women’s clear skin and discovered that it stemmed from these facials. She was intrigued and when she got back to the US she found that some New York beauty salons now offer the treatment. She tried it and loved how great her skin looked."

The friend added, "Victoria also uses a cream derived from nightingale poo at home." The magazine also reports that David also uses a moisturising poo mask before bed. This is definitely one meaning of the phrase playing dirty. Still, Victoria's skin has never looked better, so maybe there is something in it after all.

Jennifer Lopez has been really busy recently, what with the launch of her new perfume for men and partying at Milan Fashion Week. She's also revealed that she was stunned when she first saw her friend Victoria Beckham's new hair cut.

According to rumours, Jennifer has been saying she had no idea Posh was going to go for such a drastic change. According to Marie Claire, J-Lo admitted "I was so shocked. I arranged to meet up with her the day she had it done." It seems Posh had kept her hair plans a secret. J-Lo revealed "She didn't tell me what she was doing, so I turned up and there she was with this incredibly short black hair. I was knocked out!"

Jennifer, who isn't known for making drastic style changes, particularly in terms of her hair cut and colour was obviously impressed by Victoria's daring pixie cut. She added "I told her she looked like Audrey Hepburn. I think she's such a great girl."

Victoria Beckham is certainly trying very hard to solidify her fame in America. She appears on the cover of Allure magazine this month, with glowing skin, a nude pout and sultry eye makeup – courtesy of makeup artist Scott Andrew.

At the shoot, Allure reveals that the former Spice Girl does, in fact, smile. Victoria also admits "I just make the best out of what I have. I’m not out-of-the-ordinary-looking at all – I’m incredibly ordinary."

Hmm, well not sure if ordinary would be how I'd describe her. But with a new fragrance in the works, a successful fashion line and that hunk of a husband, she's certainly a very lucky, ordinary girl.

The rumour mill has been working over time for the Beckhams this week. Today, it has been implied that Victoria Beckham will show a collection at September's New York Fashion Week. Not content with ruling the denim and sunglasses world, it seems that Ms Beckham wants to get her fingers in another pie, dresses. She told WWD at the launch of her Prestige fragrance, "I'm working on a collection of dresses at the moment, which I plan to show in September."

The official schedule does not include her yet but we'll be sure to tell you when it is confirmed. She added, "It will be something completely different from what I've ever done. I'm just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200 retail. I'm going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries."

I think it would be great for Victoria to show. With the likes of Gwen Stefani and Lauren Conrad already producing catwalk lines I see no reason why Victoria wouldn't follow suit. New York fashion week runs from 5th - 12th September.

Sadly, her dress and bag are taken from the Marc Jacobs resort line and are therefore not available to us mere mortals just yet. I imagine it was a gift from the designer as Victoria will be representing Jacobs at the CFDA awards on Monday night. Victoria Beckham worked hard to dispell some rumours on Radio 1 yesterday. She explained that she is not pregnant and is not going to be in a film but there is one rumour based upon truth.

Last month we reported that Kitson was threatening to drop her jeans line due to her lack of promotional effort. Victoria told Radio 1, "With that particular store there probably was some truth in it. I'd been on tour with the Spice Girls and at the end of the day you can't do everything. I work bloody hard is what I do, you know I really do. And I'm bringing up three children."

Victoria soon put right her error with a shopping trip to Kitson. Seems she will not make the same mistake again as she busily promotes the line in the UK.

Victoria Beckham flew to London on Saturday, leaving her boys to have fun at the football. She's flying back to the UK for a good cause selling six Roberto Cavalli tour outfits to raise money for the Victoria and David Beckham Children's Charity. This charity provides kids with wheelchairs and other kit. Victoria explained, "I love all the outfits - for the memories they hold and for how beautiful they are. But there has been a lot of interest in them and I want to harness that for the charity."

All good deeds aside, I am not sure what she was thinking when she opted for these bright pink flares. Not only do they clash with her orange skin tone but they also leave Victoria looking like she wants to challenge Jordan in the Barbie lookalike stakes. I think that maybe they'd look better in a darker shade or maybe if they were skinny rather than flared. Unfortunately, this outfit marks Victoria's entry to the How would YOU wear it hall of shame. Earlier in the week we reported that certain US stores would be dropping her jeans line due to her lack of promotion. Today rumour has it that Victoria Beckham does not work hard enough. It has been reported that her jeans line has been dropped from many stores in the US including celebrity haunts Kitson and Fred Segal because of her actions (or lack of). Apparently the stores have decided to stop selling her collection because she has not done enough PR work to promote them.

Kitson boss Fraser Ross explains, “We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell." Oh dear Ms Beckham, is someone getting too big for her Christian Louboutins?

Amy performed at a Fendi store opening during Paris Fashion Week at an event that was very over-subscribed. Now, following a tip off by Victoria Beckham who confesses to loving Amy's style, she may be about to sign a deal with Roberto Cavalli.

Cavalli has previously commented on Amy,

"She has a real sense of style that I love. She is a fashion icon because she is unique."

On Our Radar: Hervé Léger Bandage Dresses Now Available

Victoria Beckham is a little bit clueless about fashion show etiquette (she wore a Leger dress to a Marc Jacobs show) but she does know how to sell clothes. So well in fact that the dress she wore to Jacobs Spring/Summer show (pictured left) crashed the Intermix server when it went on sale stateside last week! The actual dress that she wore is not currently available at Net-a-Porter UK but a range of other great Léger dresses are.

If you're confident enough to pull it off, body-con dresses are big news for Spring/Summer, and you don't get more body-con than a bandage dress, which is incredibly unforgiving. Fab Blab: Michael Kors Is a Teenage Spice Girls Fan

As the Spice Girls World Tour hit New Jersey it seems they have developed some very fashionable fans. US designer Michael Kors was at their show at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J and even hung out with the girls backstage. He told WWD,

"Of course I am a Spice Girls fan...I love everything that teenage girls love. I am the oldest teenage girl."

Ms Beckham went on to wow Kors backstage with her High School Musical rendition. Kors also met Beckham's youngest son Cruz backstage and commented that he's ready to be a star.
